Below are some recent happenings from the chess world:
The current even of the Grand Chess Tour is The Superbet Chess Classic Romania. This event features World Champion Gukesh, Caruana, Abdusattorov, Pragg, etc… MVL lost his first game but has come back to be tied for first after defeating Gukesh in Round 4.

The top event going on for the ladies is the last leg of the FIDE Women’s Grand Prix – this time in Austria. Anna Muzychuk defeated Zhu Jiner (see last week’s update why this game is important) and is leading the tournament. Muzychuk has a full point lead (4/5) so appears well on her way. Zhu is tied for 2nd – 4th place so plenty of drama remains.

The following is the fb post from FIDE.
